Seek & Respond Well to Change

We heard a great message from Pastor Randy Hartwig called “Change the Key to Victorious Christianity”. Here’s some of the highlights:

Change is a Constant Process for a Victorious Christian.

2 Cor. 3:18 – We who reflect the Lord’s glory are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory…

A Christian who doesn’t want to change is like a caterpiller that doesn’t want to become a butterfly.  We need to actively seek change to become all that God wants us to be.

Change opens the fullness of God’s Kingdom to us.

Matt 18:1-4 – Jesus teaches us that unless we change and become like a little child we will never see the Kingdom of Heaven.

Change Brings Revival.

Look at the great revivals that God has brought, they are almost always preceded by a change in thinking and methodology.  For example:

  • Martin Luther changes our doctrine when he reveals salvation by faith not works
  • The Baptists reveal the truth of full water immersion for believers after salvation
  • Pentacostals bring the restoration of the Gifts of The Spirit including healing, speaking in tongues and prophesy

Are you a spiritual pioneer or a settler?  Pioneers push beyond the known limits to conquer new frontiers, to expand the Kingdom…
